One of our Customer Service Manager’s, Matt Anderson, undertook a sponsored parachute jump at Headcorn in aid of charity in November. Matt raised just over £500 for Cancer Research.

Town & Country Cleaners has developed a staff login area for our cleaning staff. This will improve further our communication with our staff and will also enhance the service we provide to our customers.

During December the company had an annual audit on our ISO 14001 accreditation. The report said that Town & Country Cleaners have built their Environmental Management System around appropriate aspects and demonstrated continual improvement. Particular strengths include methodology associated with keeping up to date with legislation and monitoring and measurement associated with carbon emissions from the fleet.

Contracts we started recently have been URS Scott Wilson who provide a comprehensive range of services, including strategic consulting and advice for new projects, asset management, rationalisation programmes, transactions, social, environmental and economic risk, through to operation, maintenance and decommissioning of facilities and infrastructure. Their office is based in International House in Ashford. Also we started a contract for Affco Europe who is also based in International House. They provide prime meat products from New Zealand to over 74 countries.
