Company Directors
Town and Country Cleaners is privately owned by three of our Directors. Despite the youthful looks of the three below, they have over 100 years’ experience in the cleaning industry. Each has their finger on the pulse in their respective fields as they work full time in the company to guide our colleagues with that experience combined with drive, enthusiasm, and wherever possible, a smile on their face.
Richard Redding
Sales Director
Richard joined us in 2019 having worked at both a large national company and a smaller privately owned firm. With 24 years of sales experience in the industry, he brings the external knowledge that complements his fellow Directors (the Company owners) understanding of Town & Country. Richard leads the Sales and Marketing department and focusses primarily on generating new business.
Fascinating fact: Loves to ski but his unique style means he’s often mistaken for Frank Spencer on the slopes.
David Rushton
Director of Housing
David started Town and Country in 1976 with a humble window cleaning round in Canterbury. This service soon developed into the cleaning of offices, and the company began to grow rapidly through recommendation. David’s focus on delivering an honest and quality driven service still underpins the company today, and without doubt has contributed to the great success we are experiencing.
Fascinating Fact: Not that long ago, David was an accomplished long-distance runner.
Elaine Harrison
Managing Director
Elaine joined Town & Country in 1990 as an Office Assistant and has progressed through various departments and roles to Directorship. She leads by example with drive, enthusiasm, and an unrivalled experience of our company structure and more importantly its people. In addition to leading the company, Elaine oversees the Finance, HR, Customer Service, and Quality departments.
Fascinating fact: Elaine is first on the dance floor at the office party (and the last off it…), and loves to lose herself on a long walk with her dogs.
