Town and Country Cleaners are delighted to be sponsoring its client Homewood School and Sixth Form Centre in Tenterden Kent, with its “Fluid Motion Theatre Company” project. The project is aimed at helping 30 students through mental health support using theatre to aid in the recovery of young people’s mental health.
The Centre for Mental Health predicts that 1.5 million young people in England will need mental health services as a direct result of the Covid-19 pandemic. These practical theatre based, Covid-19 safe workshops, are delivered by specialist youth practitioners experienced in drama therapy.
Each workshop focuses on a specific topic that supports the rebuilding of friendships and social engagement, gives young people support with ways to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, and provides positive coping mechanisms that may have been lost during lockdown or that have suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Commenting on Town & Country’s support for this worthy cause, Elaine Harrison MD said “we’re delighted to be able to donate to such a worthwhile project and support the school and its students. Its clear that now more than ever, children need this additional support.
At Town & Country we ‘own’ your contract and we ‘try’ our best!
