Town and Country Cleaners celebrated 25 years of being a limited company on 19th March 2015 and Head Office staff presented the Directors a plaque and a bottle of bubbly each to commemorate the day. Kay, David & Elaine have been the driving force behind the Company since its inception. The Company has seen many changes in its 25 years of being a private limited company and a 1st class cleaning company. David Rushton, Director and former MD, first started the company in 1976 cleaning windows. We have currently 79 staff that has been with us for over 5 years. The average length of service for office staff is 8.6 years. We currently have 519 staff all together but in the last year this was split as 43% men and 57% women. The company has doubled in size over the last few years and continues to grow. Town & Country Cleaners have approx. 200 customers and 36% of our turnover is from housing contracts and 32% is from schools. We are accredited with being a 2 Ticks Employer, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 and were the first cleaning company in the South East to be accredited with the Investors in People Award.
