Town & Country Cleaners Limited

Working to Clean your Environment

Our staff

Kent’s leading commercial cleaning specialist has highly able and well trained staff. Our staff are inducted and trained to BICS (British Industry Cleaning Standard)

In addition we offer NVQ level 2 in cleaning to all our staff and in 2009 over 40 of our staff qualified under the training programme. All of our staff are checked under immigration regulations and any staff working on sensitive sites are checked with the Criminal Records Bureau.

We operate an Equal Opportunities Policy that has afforded us with the 2 Ticks Employers Award. In addition we have a Local Employment Partnership with Job Centre Plus which through a partnership approach we have developed excellent recruitment opportunities for prospective employees.

All of our staff are trained to be environmentally friendly on the job which means we recycle wherever possible. We will ensure that items will be disposed of in the correct recycling point. Our staff are vigilant in ensuring that we use water wisely and that we ensure we use products responsibly.

Town & Country Cleaners considers that training and development of our people is essential in achieving our company objectives. In August 1996 Town & Country Cleaners was the first cleaning company in Kent to become recognised with an ‘Investor in People’ Award by demonstrating our commitment to our staff.

The benefits mean that we have several structured training procedure:
• A formal induction package
• Quality and customer care training programme
• Cleaning methods, including Health & Safety and COSHH
• Development of staff by supporting them through a NVQ programme and through proactive management and support from their Customer Service Manager.

Based on our commitment we were assessed and were re-awarded the Investors in People award in October of 2010.
